Newsboys is an Australian-American Christian rock band formed in 1985 in Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia by Peter Furler, and George Perdikis (guitar). The band underwent numerous lineup changes during their history, with Furler remaining as the band's sole constant member up until his departure in 2009. The band currently consists of longtime members Jody Davis (guitar), Duncan Phillips, and Jeff Frankenstein, as well as Adam Agee. Notable former members include John James, Phil Joel and Michael Tait.
